I have always had many explanations for my propensity to draw and express myself with a simple pencil. In essence, I like it and my spirit needs it.
To art I owe not only the moments when it has calmed my spirit amid the inevitable turmoil of life but also the pleasure of trying to surpass myself in each work of art simply by trying to get to know myself better.
In my work my concerns may be guessed from the form, my devotion to geometry and my love of imagination (perhaps our best gift).
My percections never stop comming, mutating wich each other and once defined I have to paint them or put them on paper. I feel compelled to do so, much like an actor who is trying to portray a character who turns out to be himself.
I try to integrate the context of my work with the frame; for me the frame is a continuation, something that complements with its shape the inner landscape. It is like a form that encloses other forms.
"There is no passion to be found playing small - settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living."
"For me, Geometry is the patterns, footprints and tracings left behind by Nature. It is also something that comes from the hands and mind of man.
The slow and patient discovery of what is hidden is, for me, the most extraordinary adventure. I react with a mixture of surprise, wonder and respect; content with my discovery, I am also convinced of its truth.
The act of creating cannot be controlled but the artist's creative percepcion is the diary of his life."
